Chinese New Year 2009

This is another new record that Shiew Leng & me being together all the times. We were sticking together since from 2nd day of CNY, 27th Jan until 3rd Feb, we went to work early in the morning. Let's refresh that what we have experienced during this Chinese New Year.

Due to 年初一 is a big day for CNY, therefore we were celebrating with family seperately. And 年三十 is my dear, Shiew Leng's chinese lunar calendar birthday. I'm not able to celebrate with her due to my house also have a reunion dinner but I will celebrate her actual birthday on the actual date.

As we have planned earlier, 年初二 will be our meeting day. According to our plan, Shiew Leng suppose to take bus coming over to Ipoh and I will fetch her back to Tg. Malim on the afternoon but the plan seem have slightly change. Her cousin, 佩仪 fetching her to Ipoh. We met in one of the Shell Station at Menglembu. Later, after I'm taking Shiew Leng back to my house, she told me that I'm in trouble tonight when I go to Tg. Malim later. I'm asking why? Then Shiew Leng told me to whole story that why she not taking bus this morning. Mm.. after hearing that.. I feel guilty and scared what her relatives will ask me. "Dear, I really don't know what to say but I feel sorry that not enough gentlemen. You have to understand me that is quite far for me to fetch you come to my house and then sent you back to Tg. Malim and back to Ipoh again. Probably is a bad planning we have made. Hopefully, next year should arrange better way."

So, Its about 11am, Shiew Leng was paying a visit at my house, greeting my family and take some photos on it.

We were having a lunch at my house and later we went to my god grandma's house for 2nd round lunch. So, I brought Shiew Leng to meet my god grandma, god mother and the relatives at Menglembu. We have a long chatting there until we felt that is quite late to back to Tg. Malim when Shiew Leng's cousin, 佩仪 had called to us that is starting jam in highway. So, we start departed @ 4pm something a only manage back to Tg. Malim at 7pm. Its very jam at the beginning of Simpang Pulai and Bidor --> Tapah. When we passby Sungkai, then only the road get smooth.

After back to Tg. Malim, in no time we straight away go for visiting Shiew Leng's those relatives whereby Shiew Leng herself also not recognize most of them. Haha.. I'm taking alot of ang pow in here. Later, we going for dinner at one of the restaurant. This would be quite memorable because we have waited more than 1hour and 3omins to wait for the food been serve. This is terrible to eat outside during CNY.

After the dinner is about 10.3opm already and we went to Shiew Leng's uncle house a while then we go back to her house and her friends come to visit her and I'm sitting there doing nothing and just talk a little small talk with her parents then I go up and sleep. (She left me alone, so sui)


28th Jan, 09 - We slept until Shiew Leng's father wake us up for brunch. After the brunch, we are playing cards. Shiew Leng's sister, 晓莹 be a banker, playing black jack and she is a big winner. About 2.30pm, her family went to work and now is our own time again. As per our plan, we suppose to go to Taiping today and after visiting her friend, Catherine, we make a move to Taiping.

We reached Taiping about almost 6pm and we went to Taiping Lake, having our own time first and after that we meet my friend, Braxton.

Every year during CNY, I'm definately going to Taiping visit all my ex-housemate. So, this time I'm bringing my dear to come over and 'pak toh' while visiting my friend. That night, there have a gathering of Hua Lian 2nd School which is organized by Swee Kweng. Although there is not related to me.. but I just go there for fun and feel the crowd. While waiting for the gathering, Braxton brought us to Maxwell Hill (unfortunately it was closed) and dinner. Then, we go for snooker together with my the other 2 friends (Raymond & Wong). Here, I have to sorry to my dear because make her feel boring.

Time flies.. night time after we went to Swee Kweng's house and get some chit chat and drink, we proceed to back to my house at Ipoh. We reached Ipoh about 12am..

29th Jan, 09 - Can't actually recall what have done on this day. But today is my Chinese Lunar Calendar birthday. Early in the morning, we went to pay for those cukai tanah with my mother. After that, me and Shiew Leng going to DBI to pay for the cukai taksiran and we went to Ipoh Parade as well. Shiew Leng had make an appointment with her Ipoh friend at Moven Peak. Oh.. I remember this date, Shiew Leng cook dinner for my family. She cook her famous chilli sauce egg, 'lap cheong', vegetable and steam mushroom with porkrib. (东菇焖南乳排)骨. My family all praise Shiew Leng that her cook skill not bad. Of course ler.. my dear wor. hehe..

Night time we are not going out, but one of my friend come to visit me. This time, let Shiew Leng be alone in the room. We slept early tonight and have to wake up early for tomorrow because plan to go eat Dim Sum with my mother.

30th Jan, 09 - Friday. We woke up early at 7am and having a breakfast (Dim Sum) together with my mother at Fusan Restaurant, one of the famous Dim Sum at Ipoh. We have planned to back to Tg. Malim again afternoon to having lunch together with Shiew Leng's family. Before we left from Ipoh, I've brought Shiew Leng to try my hometown specialties (Tau Fu Fah).

About 12pm something, we reach Tg. Malim and having a homecook lunch with her family. During the afternoon, we have visited few of Shiew Leng's friend house at Behrang. Two of them are the future lawyer.

Night time, we didn't go out anywhere. We settle our dinner by cooking on our own. This is my first time cook vegetable. Haha...

31st Jan, 09 - Saturday. We woke up early and go to Tg. Malim pasar to buy the ingredients for the lunch. I have learned how to buy vegetables and fish on that day. We are having our breakfast in the Pasar (Wan Tan Mee). So, Shiew Leng is preparing for the lunch together with her mother assistant.

We back to KL after 3pm when her family went to work. We reached Kepong about 6pm and after a while we went to Dong Zen Temple at Jenjarom. This is one of the Shiew Leng's desire that need me to accomplish with her. It takes about 1 hour plus to reach there and we do meet Swee Kweng & Kit after that.

The scene is beautiful that full of lighting. We have taken alot of photos and enjoying the view. One thing we have to take note if we plan to go again next time, that is never eat dinner at that shop again.. 2 plate of vegetarian mee with curry chicken and 2 glasses of coconut cost me RM13. That's is terrible.

We left the temple at around 11.00pm but only manage to back to Kepong around 1am. Quite jam on the road. Shiew Leng was slept in the car and I don't want to disturb her from sleeping. Once over 12.00am is her birthday. So, I think I better sms to greet her Happy Birthday rather than wake her up. That's for the night and we have a great programme on her birthday tomorrow.

Touching words by Shiew Leng during Exam period

Last Tuesday, 20th January is my examination date and Shiew Leng exam is held on 21st January. Both of us went to library to go for our last revision at national library.

This time, I'm taking a very tough paper which is Insurance Law and I did not have a confidence at all because I'm lack of time to study due to heavy workload on my office work. I'm pity of Shiew Leng that most of the time, she waiting for me to finish my work only I can fetch her home. Dear, I have to thank you of being with me most of the time.

At first, I was taken leave on 16th January but subsequently, my lady boss, Stephanie wouldn't let me off. Therefore, I only got 3 days to do my revision. On 17 - 18th - Jan, we went to library and study together. I really glad that Shiew Leng is always supporting and encourage me to not give up for the exam. Sometimes, I really feel that I want to give up, but with her words, I was found back my fighting spirit. Other than Shiew Leng, I would like to thank to Ken & Jeffrey as well for their support.

19th Jan, Monday - I'm on leave and the national library was not opened. At first, I decided to go to Ken's house to do some discussion. But at the end, I prefer stay at home and do my own revision. Early in the morning, the first surprise I received is when I take my handphone to send sms to Ken, I saw a memo has been set without my consent. This would be done during the library when I'm away and left my handphone on the table. The message noted like this : "Dear. jia you.:) i support u with my love." I was smile while seeing this and feel happy that my dear is so sweet. She know how to give surprise to me.

20th Jan, Tuesday - The actual date of exam. Haha.. another surprise which I not expected that Shiew Leng give me another supporting word. "Dear. good luck. do ur best. b confident to urself. u can do it well." I really not expecting she did this twice. This will be my double surprise and feel very 'lum' when receiving her supporting message. Although, myself is nearly give up for the paper.. but she is not giving up on me. Thanks dear. I love you so much and glad that you are not giving up on me and I keep my promise to you of do my best in the exam.

Although when the exam is finished, I knew that I will fail but I really do the best that I can do. Next semester is your turn to taking this Insurance Law, we really need to do early preparing and is my pleasure we work this out together. Dear, I have confident on you. WE WILL PASS THE INSURANCE LAW ON THE COMING PAPER!

Charles' Friends ~ F4

January 4, 2009 - Start from the moment Charles announced our relatioship in his facebook, heard from Charles that all his best friends from this F4 gangs already waiting so long to see how actually I look like, a girl who have the ability and power to occupy Charles' heart which has been lonely for his pass 28years, with a very speedy growth :) (emm...guess Charles is laughing on I am over confident and estimate on my ability)

Actually today's date for meet up in the way of k-lunch has been postponed since last year (20/12/08). And finally, we manage to meet up today with a full attendance list in RedBox @ Low Yat Plaza. They are Nicole, Ah Kit, Swee Kweng, Wee Han, Ah Bean, Braxton & his friend - Xiao Ling. According to Charles, Wee Han purposely travel from JB and Braxton from Singapore, just for the aim to see me. Haha.. I actually proud of myself that i have this ability to attract them for coming lor...hee.. :p

We have our k-lunch from 11am to 3pm, very enjoy and funny session with this gang...after that, we manage to have a drink at Oldtown Kopitiam. Yup, we can get more know to each other through our conversation..and i can felt that i really too young in this group, as they are mature enough to think and discuss on their wedding plan, house buying plan and etc of future plan, but i still not yet.. may behave and not dare to tell? but i just answer don't have any plan in this year 2009, just wish every thing is smooth and nice (same as what Ah Kit predict on my wish, haha..so accurate, as they say: "we have been gone through the young age as you have now", hee.. 1 more time i felt i am very young...) Temporary, just left all this future planning to be planned and guide by Charles (i know he already have it), and for sure, I will works all of them together with him, perhaps i am part of his planning.

A memorable day!!! 1st time Charles & I took monorail together from Maharajalela station (office) to Imbi Station; 1st time to meet his best friends; 1st time to.....1st time to get know with older friends? haha.. just kidding, is mature, funny and friendly friends (of cause not the 1st time la..)

My 1st New Year Eve Countdown ~.~

Wow!!! My 1st new year eve countdown!! I have wish to do this for quite a few years, but never success.. Dear.. thanks for made my wish come true!!!

As we fail to see fireworks performance during the X'mas eve in genting, and i never join any new year eve count down before this, thus this countdown event was planned as our last outing in year 2008 & 1st in 2009. I am so appreciate to Charles (my dear) for willing to complete my wish since he has been promise to himself that will never join any similar event after facing the 'terrible' environment that he had faced in the past...

1-Utama is our destination....we manage to reach there at around 9pm..as the time is stil early, we walked around the shopping complex and only forward to the countdown area at around 1030pm..we should meet up our colleague - Calvin and Charles' best frens - Kweng & Kit at the countdown area, however we failed to meet up at last.. But it is not important, the most important is we have pass the waiting period happily.

We are very enjoying with the fireworks performance.. it realy too beautiful, fantastic and romantic!!! somemore, it is the 1st time for us to view with a very very near distance with the source of fireworks, it just a few meters in front of us, quite dangerous actually. haha.. Charles say that he not regret to accompany me in this event!!! Thanks, DEAR!!! A very memorable moment in my life...A good begining for our year 2009!
